GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview:

  • Perform Chemical Cleaning, Stripping or Plating, tumble, plastisol injection & Grit blasting

  • Ensure all production cycles data are filled in correctly in the Log Book

  • Conduct laboratory analysis on chemicals to ensure solutions are within specification

  • Assist periodic tank cleaning and perform chemical top up/make up

  • Perform daily inspection as per maintenance checklist and ensure safe working practices

  • Ensure all processes are proper controlled, chemicals are not overheated

  • Operate hoist for loading/unloading chemical clean parts

  • Understanding of High Risk Operation (HRO) and is part of Chemical Spill Team

  • Able to work in a chemical environment

  • Perform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasks

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum GCE 'O' level with 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing shopfloor environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ level with 3 years of relevant experience

  • Preferably NITEC/Higher NITEC in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent; or

  • Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent

  • Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferably with min. 2 years of relevant working experience

  • Worked in a chemical or plating environment and able to operate grit blasting machine

  • Familiar with laboratory analysis e.g., Titration, X-Ray, Fluorescent for solution analysing, ultraviolet visible spectrophotometer, auto-titration, pH control system, solution level control system etc.

  • Discipline and strict adherence to Operating and Quality procedures

  • Knowledge of industrial safety regulations

  • A team player
