About the opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated engagement specialist to join the Academic Engagement team in the University Library. Working closely with the Manager, Academic Engagement, the job-holder will initiate and maintain strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders in faculties and schools, fostering trust and collaboration to achieve shared objectives.
The Senior Engagement Librarian will coordinate and project manage the delivery of key Academic Engagement services, including strategic engagement initiatives and information and digital literacy programs, contribute to high-level engagement activities, and take on leadership responsibilities. The job-holder is first point of contact before a matter is referred to a more senior staff member.
The Senior Engagement Librarian will anticipate and adapt to emerging trends and technologies in the Library and University, using this knowledge to drive innovative services that meet the evolving needs of the academic community.
