We are looking for a talented individual who shares our values to join our team as an SQF & HACCP Coordinator. This position reports to the Quality Assurance, Research and Development Manager.

THE ROLE:

The SQF & HACCP Coordinator’s duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate, implement and maintain the food safety program.
  • Implement the accepted HACCP/GFSI Standard throughout the operation.
  • Review and update all HACCP-related documents, including but not limited to HACCP Plans, Food Safety Policies and Pest Control Program.
  • Coordinate external audits and follow-up on CARs.
  • Cultivate a company-wide food safety culture.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A Degree in a Science subject.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a HACCP-related role.
  • A knowledge of SQF or similar GFSI Standard would be an asset.
  • A strong background in HACCP implementation and quality assurance
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Meticulous and fastidious with an interest in the field of food safety
  • Highly computer literate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
