IT Operations Lead

From media figures and Fortune 500 corporations to universities and government agencies, GDBA stands on the front line of the assessment, prediction, and management of violence.&nbsp;</p> <p><em>We are seeking a full time IT Operations Lead to work out of our San Antonio, TX office.</em>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Required Qualifications&nbsp;</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>2-3 years of helpdesk experience including managing IT infrastructure, networks, operations, applications, security, and technical support.&nbsp;</li> <li>2-3 years of experience in a leadership role including training, coaching, and mentoring service desk specialists.&nbsp;</li> <li>Extensive technical experience to troubleshoot the individual components of a computer.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrates a persistent problem-solving and efficient approach to technology.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and improve IT processes.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited university. &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Essential Job Functions</u></strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Continuously assess helpdesk, systems, processes and training for efficiency and improvements. &nbsp;</li> <li>Oversees projects and new initiatives from start to finish, including briefings to Senior Leadership on progress, timeline, and friction points.</li> <li>Manage inventory and assets to ensure accountability and plan for phasing out/upgrades of certain technologies.</li> <li>Identification of trends with trouble tickets and ensures that troubleshooting efforts are completed for recurring problems until permanent solutions are found.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple high priority initiatives in a fast-paced technical environment.</li> <li>Responsible for assisting with the technical support of user devices (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and desk phones), application software, and related technologies used by employees.</li> <li>Provides support for administrative tasks such as user administration, permissions management, phone system management</li> <li>Provides application, server. and network support as needed.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Compensation and Benefits</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Compensation ranges from <strong><u>$85k-$100k,</u></strong> depending on experience.</li> <li>Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability Insurance, and Paid Time Off.</li> <li>Company Perks: GDBA offers its associates gym and wellness allowances, as well as corporate discount memberships, sponsored vacations, and passion grants.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Best in Class 401k Retirement Plan:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>$15,000 employer contribution for First-Year Associates.</li> <li>$3,000 employer contribution each year thereafter.&nbsp;</li> <li>10% no-limit matching for all Associates who choose to contribute to their retirement plan.</li> </ul> <p>Visit our Earnings and Benefits Page to learn more about additional benefits and stipends: <a href="http://www.gdba.com/earnings-and-benefits">www.gdba.com/earnings-and-benefits.</a></p>
