About this role

We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better.

Gate Service Driver is responsible for driving a specialized catering vehicle on the airport ramp to provide catering services to airline customers in a timely manner. The Driver must follow all safety procedures when loading and unloading equipment into the warehouse, carts, and aircraft.

$20.80/hr. +

  • Union initiation fee: $75.00
  • Union monthly dues: $86.80

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver multiple tasks and delivering them within the assigned deadlines.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and overtime when mandated
  • Arrive to work on-time and in uniform
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Complete paperwork
  • Communicate by radio to supervisors and dispatchers
  • Work as a member of a team

  • Not applicable

Job Skills:

  • Current driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Complete mandatory Driving Test and AOA training at the airport

Environmental Requirements:

  • Will be exposed to utmost temperature changes and noise
  • Be able to work up to ten (10) feet in the air​
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
