About this Role:

The Associate Director, People Analytics Partner, will be a critical member of the broader People Analytics team. This highly visible role will support Gartner’s HR associates globally and will be responsible for developing and scaling our analytical capabilities to support HR’s mission critical priorities in line with Gartner’s growth objectives.

The Associate Director, People Analytics Partner will be a strategic partner within the People Analytics team.  This role will provide both consultative and technical analytics support to Gartner’s Services & Sales Operations HR teams. As the day-to-day partner with HR Partners and Recruiting leads, the Associate Director, People Analytics Partner will help identify and solve critical business problems through the strategic consultation and application of robust analytical solutions. This role will ensure analytical best practices and influence the interpretation of insights with a relentless focus on data accuracy, consistency, and scalability in alignment with Gartner’s growth. The Associate Director, People Analytics Partner will influence the product and analytics roadmaps to ensure Sales & Services business needs are prioritized.

What you will do:

Operate as a strategic partner in the organization to deliver three critical capabilities to support Gartner’s growth:

Consultative Partnership

  • Provides consultative partnership to our senior HR Partners and Recruiting leadership across Services & Sales Operations teams, including proactive identification & solutioning of critical business problems

  • Supports critical initiatives that drive productivity for services teams

  • Engages and influences senior Gartner leaders

Analytical Problem-Solving

  • Creatively solves complex business problems

  • Uses curiosity to uncover insights from quantitative and qualitative data to tell a story and influence outcomes across a wide range of executive-level stakeholders

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Influences product and analytics roadmaps across the organization, ensuring Sales & Services priorities are driving People Analytics priorities

  • Fosters strong cross-functional collaboration with other departments such as Sales Strategy & Operations, Finance, IT, and other

What you will need:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in analytics and HR or consulting

  • Demonstrated strong analytical, organizational, communication and leadership skills at all levels 

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex/unstructured business problems.

  • Uses data and the economics of the business to analyze problems and recommend solutions (can translate insights into actionable solutions).

  • Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate with senior leadership to drive decisions

  • Proven ability to influence and coordinate with global team members, anticipate and manage risks, set appropriate expectations and consistently deliver strong results

  • Proven track record of establishing trusted partner relationships, including collaborating with and influencing leaders and teams across multiple business functions

  • Experience with SQL data analytics skills required.

  • Experience with R, Python or other programming languages preferred. 

  • Experience with Databricks and PowerBI or comparable tools preferred.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 108,000 USD - 148,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
