Garda's primary offices are located in Wayzata, New York City, West Palm Beach, Geneva, Zug, Copenhagen, Singapore, and Scottsdale.</p></div><p>Garda is looking to hire an <strong>Infrastructure Engineering Intern</strong> to be a part of our Infrastructure team based out of our Wayzata office, in <strong>Summer 2026</strong>. This is an exciting position offering opportunities to gain hands-on exposure to enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, and mission-critical systems at a global hedge fund.</p>
<p><strong>Position Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform/OpenTofu and CloudFormation</li>
<li>Support cloud infrastructure projects across AWS and Azure environments</li>
<li>Work with senior team members and managed service providers to support on-premise server infrastructure</li>
<li>Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and availability of trading systems</li>
<li>Participate in backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure documentation efforts</li>
<li>Support physical infrastructure including audiovisual systems and access control</li>
<li>Assist with front-office and enterprise infrastructure support initiatives</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications & Desired Skills</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field</li>
<li>Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) or strong interest in learning</li>
<li>Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language (Python, PowerShell, or similar)</li>
<li>Interest in infrastructure automation, DevOps, and cloud technologies</li>
<li>Basic understanding of networking and operating systems</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, time-sensitive team environment</li>
