The Technical Analyst provides critical analytical and reporting support to the employee benefits consulting team. This role is responsible for developing accurate financial models, claims analysis, and cost projections to guide strategic decision-making for both pooled and self-funded clients. The analyst collaborates with internal teams and external carriers to prepare renewal packages, marketing materials, and plan design alternatives, ensuring clients receive data-driven insights and customized solutions. This position also supports vendor relationships, technical systems, and due diligence efforts for client acquisitions.


How you'll make an impact

• Provide analytical support to Healthcare benefits consulting practice
• Develop benefit comparisons and projections with high level of accuracy
• Create monthly claims and expense (C&E) reports to clients
• Peer review renewal calculations and utilization reports
• Model plan design and employee contribution alternatives
• Develop employee enrollment migration scenarios for multiple plan design options


About You

Required:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.

Desired:

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in benefits and marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, preferably with a focus in finance; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strongly preferred: prior experience in benefits administration and compliance.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
