Overview

Working closely with the EVP, Advisory and Analytics, Artex Producers, Captive Directors, and Artex North America senior leadership in the identification, evaluation, structuring, placement, and management of alternative risk solutions and strategic risk transfer for large, complex clients and prospective clients.


How you'll make an impact

  • Multi-faceted evaluation, consulting, and design of large Property prospects & client Property opportunities. The evaluation will include modelling, risk management, commercial/market, financial, underwriting, and structural evaluations to identify product solutions.
  • Presentation and communication of solutions both internally to the Artex producer and externally to the retail broker and the client.
  • Ideal candidates will be comfortable and fluent working with a wide variety of sources of submission data, including actuarial and other modelling output, to identify product solutions and performance expectations in a specialized risk transfer structure.   
  • Ideal candidates will have a broad knowledge of the Property insurance and reinsurance marketplace, whether derived in a carrier, broker, or wholesale/intermediary environment. Product solutions will commonly involve a combination of Insurance, reinsurance, and alternative risk product structures.
  • Works closely with the account executive in the continuous management of existing clients, ensuring an excellent service platform, and throughout the year with clients that lead up to a successful renewal.
  • The individual will be involved in advising and conducting feasibility assessments, captive utilization studies, and the identification of potential whitespace and revenue per client opportunities.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • CPCU, ACII, or other Insurance/Risk Management designations preferred.
  • 10+ years’ insurance industry experience, preferably with large accounts/portfolios gained through either an underwriting, production, or critical analytical support capacity.
  • Strong financial aptitude.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and client management skills.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
