Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst on the Drive team, you will lead end‑to‑end analytical workflows—from ingest and transformation (ETL) through modeling, visualization, and business storytelling—aligning with our standardized product lifecycle. This role is designed around the technical stack and patterns commonly leveraged by Drive analysts (e.g., Python, data processing, ETL, SQL, and BI tools). 


How you'll make an impact

  • Design, build, and maintain robust, testable ETL pipelines for diverse data sources feeding Drive; implement data quality checks, lineage, and documentation. 
  • Contribute to the GBS Data & Analytics service areas (data engineering, reporting & analytics, financial reporting, applications) through cross‑team collaboration. 
  • Partner with Gallagher Technical Services on release coordination, versioning, and environment dependencies tied to data governance. 
  • Contribute to our data platform with an emphasis on modeling and stewardship of curated datasets used by Drive analytics. 
  • Assist in knowledge capture aligned to clear narratives for commercial use cases 
  • Develop dashboards and visual stories in Power BI, complemented by Python visualization (e.g., Matplotlib) as needed; ensure accuracy, usability, and adoption. 
  • Present insights to stakeholders across sales, consulting, and client service; drive alignment on actions and measure business impact. 
  • Uphold Gallagher’s data ethics and privacy standards. 

About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year professional experience
  • Prior experience in a quantitative field, through internships or other consultative work, and/or demonstrated ability to perform independent quantitative analyses of a moderate to highly complex nature accepted in lieu of full experience
  • Less than 20% travel


Preferred:

  • Master's/MBA degree; Strong academic credentials
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with Access or enterprise database programs a plus
