Overview

Gallagher's Pharmacy Practice is seeking a Pharmacy Consultant to join our Gallagher Pharmacy Alliance (GPA) & Coalitions team. This position is integral in handling analytics for the GPA and other Gallagher coalitions, including financial modeling, data manipulation, and pricing-related matters. This position will serve as the primary contact for all pricing analyses for current and prospective clients. Additional responsibilities include strategic planning, year-end reporting and contract review. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry experience, and the ability to work effectively within timelines while maintaining clear and professional communication.


How you'll make an impact

Data Analytics and Financial Modeling:

  • Perform detailed data analysis and financial modeling to support growing the coalition business.

Pricing and Data Management:

  • Act as the primary contact for all pricing and data-related matters, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Contract Review:

  • Analyze and review contracts to ensure alignment with coalition objectives and translate contractual terms into financial insight.

Year-End Reporting:

  • Complete client and coalition level year-end reports, summarizing performance and trends.

Ad-Hoc:

  • Partner and support the Pharmacy Practice with analytic support around various strategic plans and client requested analyses.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with coalition and producer teams in preparing presentation materials for prospective business.

Timely Execution:

  • Manage tasks and deliverables within tight timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Communication:

  • Provide clear and professional communication to internal and external stakeholders regarding analytics, pricing, and reporting.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics/Informatics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or health care related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (advanced knowledge in Excel a plus)
  • Experience using SQL to extract and query data preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organization, resourceful, critical thinking, and time management skills
  • Experience analyzing raw data, with ability to think logically and process sequentially with a high level of detailed accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and discipline to multitask and prioritize projects to meet scheduled deadlines
  • Professionally interact with, or present to, a diverse group of stakeholders including executives, managers, clients, and subject matter experts, both technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and problem solving
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work creatively, both independently and as part of a team.
  • 3+ years of experience in PBM industry with knowledge of pricing, rebates, and contracts
  • Ability for some travel (5%)

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
