Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP CPI Consultant to lead the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP integration technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient integration solutions. Your role in our mission

Essential Job Functions

  • Design, develop, and maintain integration flows using SAP CPI (Cloud Integration).
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement end-to-end integration scenarios between SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Salesforce, third-party APIs).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring high availability and performance of interfaces.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and developers.
  • Ensure compliance with integration architecture standards, security policies, and best practices.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
  • Document integration designs, configurations, and support procedures.
  • Proven experience in managing parallel project integration requirements and production support activities, ensuring timely resolution of Incidents and Service Requests, prioritization of work, and adherence to SLA and ITSM processes.

What we're looking for

Technical Skills:

  • SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration): Deep expertise in designing and developing integration flows (iFlows).
  • Integration Protocols: Proficiency in SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, IDoc, RFC, and HTTPS.
  • Scripting Languages: Strong skills in Groovy and JavaScript for custom logic in iFlows.
  • Data Formats: Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, and CSV.
  • API Management: Knowledge of SAP API Management and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
  • SAP Ecosystem: Familiarity with S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAP PI/PO, and SAP BTP.
  • Monitoring & Debugging: Ability to use SAP CPI monitoring tools for troubleshooting and performance tuning.

 

Development & Architecture:

  • Integration Design Patterns: Understanding of synchronous/asynchronous messaging, error handling, and message transformation.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with version control (e.g., Git), transport management, and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Security: Knowledge of authentication methods (OAuth2, Basic Auth, SAML), encryption, and secure data handling.

 

Functional Knowledge:

  • Order To Cash, Procure to Pay, R2R, Finance, Hire to Retire, Delivery (MSR, CPM)

 

Soft Skills:

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex integration requirements and propose scalable solutions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Experience mentoring junior consultants and leading integration projects.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.

 

Mandatory / Core Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following (or equivalent):
  • Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Any other technical or engineering discipline

 

Preferred / Value-Added Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree (optional, not mandatory), M.Tech / M.S. in Computer Science or IT, MBA (Systems / IT) for client-facing or leadership roles

 

SAP Certifications (strongly preferred for a Lead role):

  • SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
  • SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP BTP
  • SAP S/4HANA Integration–related certifications
