Summary

We’re looking for a high-performing and self-motivated system administrator with strong healthcare software solution expertise to join our M&O team and be the key resource for sustaining and supporting the mailroom operations document capture manager solution at Gainwell Technologies. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams, and involves ongoing interaction with a variety of end-users and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of scanning and OCR system administration, adding and managing user roles and permissions, application configuration, system workflow, and understanding of file directory.

Your role in our mission

  • System administrator for scanning and OCR application.
  • Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs. Assists in the modification of company products and/or customer/internal systems to meet the needs of the client and/or end-user.
  • Gathers information from the system, analyzes program and time requirements, and prepares documentation to change existing programs.
  • Researches and analyzes existing systems and program requirements, under periodic supervision.
  • Designs programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs.
  • Writes specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity.
  • Assists in resolving production support problems. Develops and suggests alternative approaches to resolving problems.
  • Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs. Identifies issues as appropriate.
  • Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.
  • Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
  • Remains abreast of and researches industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards.
  • Triage/action trouble batches
  • Add/manage users, roles, and permissions
  • Run and monitor reports
  • Perform basic troubleshooting (e.g. reading logs and monitoring system alerts)
  • Perform system or worker restarts as needed (e.g. during a new build install)
  • Communicate with stakeholders and system staff (Keyers, Supervisors, Managers, IT, etc.)
  • Ability to understand FIS Formworks system workers (AC-1, DV, Store, etc.) and how the individual workers interact

What you should expect in this role

The pay range for this position is $62,300.00 - $89,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
