Summary

This Product Manager - Analytics, Reporting & Workflow role will help lead the development and strategy of healthcare technology products that support Medicaid programs, ensuring solutions meet regulatory requirements while aligning with client goals and user needs. Acting as the key liaison between stakeholders and development teams, this individual sets product vision, drives execution throughout the agile development lifecycle, and emphasizes reporting, analytics, and workflow optimization. The role includes ownership of product roadmap development and governance, serving as the voice of the client, and fostering strong collaboration through client engagement and cross‑functional partnerships. Ideal candidates bring experience with tools such as Power BI, SSRS, and workflow automation platforms like Appian, along with a strong understanding of Medicaid operations, including claims, encounters, eligibility, and financial reconciliation.

Your role in our mission

Product Strategy & Management

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap that supports Medicaid policy, operational efficiency, and client priorities.
  • Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into actionable user stories and features with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Own and manage the product backlog in partnership with colleagues, ensuring it reflects business value, stakeholder input, and technical feasibility.
  • Develop and maintain Product Roadmaps aligned with other related and critical Product areas – working closely with Product Managers and other Product Owners.
  • Focusing and leading the future strategy and needs of the solution area this individual would be responsible for.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between internal development teams and external stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of priorities and goals.
  • Ensure the final product meets quality expectations, user needs, and compliance requirements specific to Medicaid programs.
  • Collaborating on sales activities and meeting client needs.

Process Optimization, Reporting & Automation

  • Analyze existing product workflows and identify opportunities to streamline Medicaid business processes, reduce operational overhead, and improve user experience.
  • Design and maintain operational dashboards and performance reports using tools such as Power BI and SSRS to support client reporting and decision making.
  • Leverage business process automation tools such as Appian to increase transparency, compliance tracking, and workflow efficiency across key Medicaid activities.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager, preferably in the Medicaid or broader public health sector
  • Solid understanding of Medicaid programs, policies, and business processes such as eligibility, claims, encounters, prior authorization, or provider management
  • Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
  • Proficient in backlog management, requirements gathering, and stakeholder communication
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, SSRS, and workflow automation platforms (e.g., Appian)
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, analytical, and interpersonal skills

What you should expect in this role

  • Primarily remote within the US with occasional travel may be required
  • Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required.
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $108,500.00 - $155,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
