Position Overview
GA Foods is seeking a Route Delivery Driver / Field Service Representative to join our team in Phoneix, Arizona. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of GA Foods — delivering ready-made, hot, frozen, and shelf-stable meals to seniors and other at-risk populations. Compassion, reliability, and professionalism are the cornerstones of success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely deliver food items and supplies to customer homes or sites according to assigned routes

• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while providing courteous service

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and proper upkeep

• Follow food safety and handling procedures, including temperature compliance

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, check fluid levels, and maintain service logs

• Report any vehicle or delivery issues promptly to your supervisor

• Assist with packing, loading, and storing of food items and supplies as needed

• Maintain driver scorecards and required records accurately

• Demonstrate consistent attendance and reliability to ensure timely customer service

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, some mandatory Saturdays based on business need. 

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 5 years, 0–4 current points on license)

• Minimum 3 years of route delivery or distribution experience preferred

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Comfortable using GPS, tablets, and general computer systems

• ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs frequently

• Comfortable with periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, or balancing

• Capable of stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching

• Regular use of hands, arms, vision, and hearing

• Tolerance for outdoor work and varying weather conditions

Work Environment

• Combination of outdoor and in-vehicle work

• Regular exposure to heat, cold, rain, and snow

• This position follows a standard weekly schedule, however, weekend work may be required based on business needs.

• Must be able to maintain composure and focus while serving customers under different conditions
