Assure customer satisfaction
Know the customer’s expectations both today and the future.
Adhere to all company policies including completion of all required documentation, etc.
Work together with the entire Van Keppel team to ensure all of our customers are satisfied.
Accept responsibility as final source of service departments’ problems as they can affect total customer relations. This includes within the store or Van Keppel as a whole.
Organize and manage your time to ensure the highest possible return to Van Keppel and its customers.
Identify new accounts and add them to our System for future action, mail, telemarketing, etc.
Communicate with all levels of Van Keppel management to ensure that all service to our customers is taken care of and no profit opportunity is lost due to a lack of communication.
All communication with customers and co-workers should be done respectfully, honestly, and professionally following the “golden rule” which is, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Proactively seek customer and employee feedback, anticipate problems, and respond promptly.
Provide the direction and leadership required to achieve professional profitability and customer service and satisfaction.
Understand and administer functional company knowledge.
Understand the “Employee Handbook”
Be proactive to uncover signs that an employee may have a problem with his/her job duties/responsibilities.
Complete all personnel action forms for new hires and employee changes
Contribute to the maintenance of high employee morale
Display flexibility and openness in daily work and encourage others to stay open to change, improvements, etc.
Attend required company meetings and provide constructive discussion.
Manage your A/R Report in a manner that keeps us current with our customers.
Watch for slow paying. COD, and “No Sale” customers.
Protect the company’s financial interests
Conduct yourself in a professional manner and maintain a professional appearance.
Manage and maintain all company property.
Inventory consisting of whole goods and parts
Maintain the highest level of safety.
Inspect your branch according to the safety guidelines in the Safety Handbook.
Conduct regular monthly safety meetings.
Our company goal is 100% accident free.
Use and maintain company facilities, equipment, and vehicles in a professional and safe manner. Keep all company property neat, clean, and organized.
Manage your Work in Process to costing within 7 days from the last posted labor.
All other duties as assigned by Ownership and the Executive Management Team.
