This is a PRN position working from 7 A.M. to 11 A.M. , 8 - 12 hours per week, paying an hourly rate of $13.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Assist with patient scheduling and admin front desk duties as required. 
• Greets patients and transports them to the treatment area after checking in at the front desk.
• Assists with patient prep before and after treatment.
• Assists with the positioning of patients.
• Prepares treatment rooms (linens, pillowcases, disinfecting treatment areas) for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Perform daily temperature checks in a log on the hydrocollator and ice machines/freezers. 
• Assist patients on and off exercise equipment.
• Demonstrate proper use of exercise equipment and exercise routines
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Responsible for all physical therapy equipment set-up and take-down during treatment sessions.
• Responsible for disinfecting all treatment areas throughout the day and sanitizing the treatment areas at the end of the day. 
• Ensures operation of physical therapy equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions calling for or communicating repairs, and labeling the equipment as “Not is use, equipment is being repaired.” 
• Supervises prescribed exercises as prescribed by a licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant.  
• Maintains clinical supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipating needed supplies.
• Perform laundry duties for soiled and clean linens.
• Organized, efficient multitasker who can manage multiple priorities at once.

EXPECTED WORK HOURS

Office hours vary depending on location and some have extended hours which can range from 6.00am-7.00pm or may be open on Saturday. Some night and weekend work may be required.
