Join Fulton Hogan as a Water Technician and become a key member of our Water Maintenance team! Reporting to the WDC Water Maintenance Operations Manager, you’ll support our Water department to deliver top-quality work safely, efficiently, and on time.

In addition to the above you will:  

  • Respond promptly to faults and perform water quality and operational testing

  • Relocate water service connections; assess and undertake repairs or replacements

  • Dig trenches and lay pipes, ensuring correct installation and connections

  • Read and interpret underground service plans and safely protect services during excavations

  • Accurately maintain and organise records relating to plant maintenance

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (local experience is a bonus)

  • Full driver’s licence (Class 1, Class 2 and WTR preferred)

  • Relevant NZQA qualification (Infrastructure Pipelaying, Pipeline Installation/Construction or Pipeline Maintenance)

  • Strong understanding of water/wastewater treatment and reticulation systems
