In addition to the above you will:  

• Operate grader machinery to perform tasks such as grading, levelling, and finishing road surfaces

• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications

• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance of the grader

• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project timelines are met

• Ensuring your team adheres to all Health & Safety policies and procedures

• Have great people management and open communication skills

• Support the training and development of your team

We’re looking for someone with:

• Class 4 License

• W,T,R (wheels, tracks, and rollers) endorsements

• Staff supervision and proven experience as a final level grader operator in the civil construction industry

• Experience with communication to and leading others

• A background in both earthworks and road construction, including pavement construction
