Business Development Manager / Senior Business Development Manager (BDM/SBDM) (Ho Chi Minh City Overseas Centre)
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Role Overview:
The BDM/SBDM will be part of Enterprise Singapore’s Ho Chi Minh City Overseas Centre. The primary focus is to support Singapore-based companies in expanding their businesses or establishing a presence in Vietnam, as well as to promote trade and investment between Singapore and Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities:
- Guide Singapore-based companies in expanding their business to Vietnam by leveraging a strong understanding of the business landscape, local regulations, and business norms.
- Develop a pipeline of prospective deals involving Singapore-based companies and assist in closing these deals.
- Monitor the business environment and conduct market research to identify and share key growth and investment opportunities, with a focus on:
- Industrial infrastructure
- Manufacturing
- Lifestyle & consumer sectors (including food services, food products, and retail)
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with public and private sector partners who can support Singapore-based companies with their business plans in Vietnam.
- Support business development activities, including:
- Organizing and facilitating business development trips and visits by delegations from Singapore
- Writing meeting reports
- Conducting data analysis of business leads to inform future strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of prior business development or market research experience in the private or public sector.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing and/or business development role is required.
- Experience in liaising with government officials is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, independence, and a results-driven mindset.
- Keen interest in business development and market expansion.
- Excellent command of written and spoken Vietnamese and English.
- Willingness to travel within Vietnam and to Singapore for work assignments.
- Strong emphasis on teamwork, as the team is small.
