Position Overview

The Senior Analyst, Reporting and Analytics (P4) in develops, maintains, and owns reporting tools and data processes that provide visibility into site performance and key performance indicators (KPIs). Reporting into the PMO, this role partners across multiple departments to design, deliver, and sustain data solutions that enable clear, consistent, and reliable reporting for leadership decision-making. The position creates and maintains Tableau dashboards, Alteryx workflows, and Smartsheet trackers to ensure KPI reporting is accurate, timely, and actionable. This role exists to standardize metrics, improve data quality, and scale reporting capabilities across the organization.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Designs, builds, and sustains Tableau dashboards that visualize site performance KPIs and portfolio health for leadership decision-making; apply data visualization best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Develops, schedules, and optimizes data workflows for Leadership team, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and load to support automated, reliable KPI reporting.
  • Partners with PMO, Operations, Finance, IT and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define metric logic, and translate business needs into scalable data models and reporting solutions
  • Establishes and enforces data quality checks, governance standards, and documentation for metric definitions, source-of-truth tables, and change control across reporting assets.
  • Administers and maintains Smartsheet trackers and Control Center configurations to support project intake, status tracking, and standardized portfolio reporting.
  • Create and maintain technical and user documentation, data dictionaries, dashboard guides, and runbooks for support and continuity.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses, root-cause investigations, and performance deep-dives to inform corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Familiarity with or ability to learn Tableau, Alteryx, and Smartsheet.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain data and data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Basic Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldwith 8 years of applicable industry experience OR
  • Master’s degree Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 6 years of applicable industry experience OR
  • Experience creating and optimizing Tableau dashboards (e.g., LODs, parameters, performance best practices).
  • Experience in quantitative and analytical skills with ability to track, measure and identify improvement solutions.
  • Experience leading and facilitating group process and collaboration.

Preferred Requirements / Certifications

  • Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Prior experience working with Pharma or Bio-tech industry
  • Prior experience using Tableau or other BI tools.
  • Strong influencing, collaboration, oral and written communications skills
  • Experience designing and maintaining Alteryx workflows for data preparation, blending, and automation.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable, moving and managing projects with different objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results with a strong sense of urgency.
