Job Description

Major areas of Responsibility include:

  • Raw Material and Gas sampling
  • Executing shipping and receiving procedures for all GMP and Non-GMP materials and/or finishes products
  • Dispensing raw materials, acids, caustic, and consumables to Manufacturing Formulation or Batch Records
  • Receiving verification and staging of raw materials, acids, caustic, and consumables
  • Labeling and staging dispensed materials for manufacturing
  • Performing Formulation or Batch record materials issuance calculations
  • Performing Inventory cycle counts/transactions within a specified time period
  • Training new employees on related tasks.
  • Generally operates within minimal direction from the manager.
  • Perceived as a subject matter expert.
  • Equipment cleaning
  • Transportation of raw materials and consumables
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years in a GMP environment or equivalent

 

Physical Demands:

  • The individual in this position is expected to perform the following physical activities as part of the job: climbing, reaching standing, crouching, stooping, and typing. Additionally, the individual will be required to routinely lift or move objects up to 50 pounds and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • This position requires the individual to be on a rotating weekly on-call schedule as a regular part of the job.
  • The individual in this position should have the visual acuity required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, reading scanners, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving the operation of machines, and using measurement devices.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to various environmental conditions. These may include outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, work at elevated heights, fumes or airborne particles, work with various hazardous chemicals (e.g. flammables, corrosives, toxics, and reactives), extreme cold, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock (i.e. forklift chargers). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
