Overview

 

The Machinist III produces precision parts using machine tools and equipment. This involves measuring workpieces, installing machine parts, and performing quality inspections. Interview immediately!


Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Estimate dimensions of workpieces, products, or equipment
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Produce or repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements
  • Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools in order to perform precision machining operations
  • Program more complex parts to be machined
  • Measure and outline the parts to be machined using various devices and tools in order to obtain accurate dimensions
  • Assist with design of basic manufacturing fixtures

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in area of responsibility.
  • High School Diploma or GED

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
  • Pay Range: $25.33 - $31.04 hourly. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
