Overview
The Electronics Engineering Technician II supports design engineering and development activities and uses electronic and mechanical testing equipment. This role involves hands-on prototyping and testing, setting up equipment, keeping records, and performing routine repairs.
Responsibilities
- Verify and operate automated test equipment, special test equipment and test cables
- Testing, troubleshooting and repair of subassemblies and systems
- Assist with installations and upgrades of equipment
- Uses Digital Multimeters and oscilloscopes, as well as other test and measurement equipment
- Assemble test fixtures and set up test equipment for product development team
- Recommend tools, equipment and test fixture needs and support acquisition
- Perform hands-on prototyping and testing of new and modified designs under direction of Design Engineering personnel.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an electrical testing position.
- Instrumentation experience
- RF experience
- High School (High school diploma) or GED
- Associate’s degree or certificate in Electrical Engineering a plus
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
- Pay Range: $27.74 hourly - $33.99 hourly. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
