Responsibilities:

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the test fixture team within Order Engineering Compressor Seals, including task prioritization, resource management, and professional development of team members
• Ensuring the technical quality, functionality, and on-time delivery of all test fixtures, taking customer requirements and applicable standards into account
• Independent design and further development of test fixtures for the qualification and validation of compressor seals
• Continuous optimization of processes, methods, and interfaces within the area of responsibility to sustainably improve lead time, throughput times, and on-time delivery
• Close collaboration with international engineering teams, including their training and development

Qualifications:

• Successfully completed technical degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or comparable)
• Several years of professional experience (> 5 years) in mechanical engineering, ideally in the field of turbomachinery, compressors, or sealing technology
• Initial leadership experience in the technical leadership of small teams
• Proficient use of a 3D CAD system and the ability to implement demanding designs independently with a strong focus on quality
• Experience with test rigs or validation activities is an advantage
• strong team and communication skills combined with a structured and independent working style
• Confident and negotiation-level communication skills in German and English with customers and international teams
• High standards for technical quality, initiative, and motivation to continuously develop the team and technical solutions
