Sales Strategy & Growth: You develop and execute sales plans with a strong focus on expanding existing customer relationships, increasing share of wallet, and driving sustainable growth across the DACH region and selected international markets.
Customer Relationship Management: You build, maintain, and deepen long-term partnerships with established B2B customers, acting as a trusted advisor and positioning the company as a preferred flavor solutions partner.
Distributor Management: You steer and support international distributors and agents as an extension of the sales organization, defining strategy and jointly developing customers in local markets.
Customer Consulting & Problem Solving: You advise customers on flavor applications, support product optimization, and help resolve technical or sensory challenges in close collaboration with R&D and application technology teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: You work closely with R&D, application technology, customer service, production, and supply chain to deliver tailored solutions and ensure efficient project execution.
Commercial Responsibility: You negotiate pricing and commercial terms, manage contracts, and contribute to achieving revenue and margin targets.
Travel & Representation: You travel regularly to visit customers, distributors, and trade fairs, representing the company professionally in the DACH region and internationally.
Educational Background: Degree or completed vocational training in food technology, food science, business administration, or a food-related trade (e.g. bakery or confectionery); candidates with strong sales experience and relevant apprenticeship backgrounds are equally encouraged.
Industry Experience: Several years of B2B sales experience in a food, ingredients, or technically oriented commercial environment; a strong customer-centric mindset and practical understanding of food applications are essential.
Sales Expertise: Proven ability to grow existing customer accounts, manage long-term relationships, and translate customer needs into commercially successful solutions.
Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of food applications and flavor performance, enabling effective discussions with customers and internal technical teams.
Customer Orientation: High empathy for customer needs, strong consulting skills, and willingness to spend significant time working on customer projects.
System & Tool Skills: Confident use of MS Office; experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems is an advantage but not required.
Languages: Fluent German and English, enabling effective communication with regional and international stakeholders.
Work Style & Mobility: Willingness to travel and work flexibly between home office, customer sites, and the Böblingen location by arrangement.
