Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for planning and controlling the annual investments and the expense budget of the region.
  • Be fully responsible for business development in South China (e.g. market research and analysis, business development plan, sales growth, market share, OP, etc.) and performance of key figures (turnover, GP, outstanding, and expenses control).
  • Be fully responsible for administrative operation of KLCN-GZ regional office, monitor the expenses of the Regional Office and ensure the budget implementation.
  • Jointly with subordinate staff define, pursue, and achieve the goals and targets for the company and himself and in specific for goals within the Operational Planning (OP), Management by Objects (MBO) and any reassessment.
  • Assure the smooth, effect and efficient operation of all sales procedures.
  • For all issues related to customers of defined focus-industries, offer needed support to and cooperation with Industry Managers.
  • Negotiate and make business conclusions in line with the corporate policy, agreement on specific conditions within the framework of his own authority.
  • The employees are to be motivated continuously and target oriented, to be enhanced in their achievements and readiness for their tasks and to qualify for future higher qualified tasks. The current MBOs are to be realized.
  • Define management routine based on company goals and make sure of the implementation.
  • Use FUEL tools to evaluate performance of team members and make proposal of Salary and Bonus with the support of HR.
  • Train all supervisors to perform their role properly and make sure that a professional work environment is present in the function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering or relevant major;
  • Proven skills in troubleshooting and solution provider in the field, and hands-on engineering experience;
  • Good basic technical knowledge, especially of machine elements, which has been acquired at a university or technical college or, alternatively, comparable qualification acquired in practice;
  • Commercial and managerial training which has been acquired at a university or technical college or, alternatively, comparable qualification acquired in practice;
  • At least 2+ years of successful sales management experience and 5+ years of sales experience;
  • Ability to work in a team and handle conflict situations;
  • Good communication and mentoring skills both in English and Chinese;
  • Successful personnel leadership experience of 2 years or more
