Responsibilities:

· Prepare pumping equipment, containers, and samples of both hazardous and non-hazardous products while following all safety precautions and procedures.

· Operate a hi-lo to facilitate the movement of materials.

· Once proficiency is proven in the packaging of materials, the incumbent will be gin compounding production batches.

· Document pertinent information for the contents of each waste tote and/or drum; ensure each container is sampled, stored, and labeled correctly noting distinction between waste types.

· Maintain all relevant batch processing instructions.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean, orderly work environment

· Experience using and managing inventory management systems

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or G.E.D.

· Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

· Good computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

· Communicate with others and exchange accurate information.

· Ability to complete positional tasks that may include bending, squatting, twisting and overhead reaching.

· Ability to make gross or fine adjustments to parts, machines, vehicles or controls that require coordinating fine or gross finger or hand movement with visual information.

· Ability to remain in a stationary position for an extended period.

· The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly, such as safety glasses, safety shoes, highly visible vest, and gloves, part or most of the day.

· Ability to lift 55-pound bags, pails or boxes to a height of 3-4 feet with assistance
