About this role

We’re looking for a Product Manager (eCommerce) to lead efforts across the entire customer lifecycle: acquisition, activation, retention, loyalty, and churn prevention.

What you'll do:

You’ll drive the roadmap of the Freshpet DTC business with a focus on building, testing, iterating, and scaling what works. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing to build seamless, high-converting experiences and deepen customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

Lead product development across the DTC funnel - from onboarding and checkout to post-purchase retention and churn reduction

  • Own retention mechanics and experimentation infrastructure across checkout, onboarding, account management, churn mitigation logic and A/B tests
  • Own and prioritize a roadmap focused on key KPIs such as Retention, Conversion, and LTV
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on sprint planning, discovery, and delivery
  • Partner with stakeholder, design and engineering on A/B tests across key lifecycle touchpoints
  • Define and communicate performance metrics and experiment outcomes to business leaders to inform strategy and prioritization
  • Run user research and dive into analytics to uncover behavior patterns and opportunities
  • Weigh tradeoffs between speed, user experience, and engineering constraints
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning through experimentation, user insights, and rapid iteration

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a DTC subscription or eCommerce business
  • Hands-on experience with growth loops, user segmentation, and retention strategies
  • Comfortable with both qualitative research and digging into data
  • Strong communicator who works well with engineering and design teams
  • Experience with Shopify and tools like Ordergroove, Klaviyo, or Segment is a plus

Freshpet is available in a growing number of mass, grocery, natural food, club, and pet specialty retailers across the United States, Canada and Europe, as well as online in the U.S. for direct delivery and through its partnership with Petco. From the care taken in partnering with farmers whose values align with theirs, to how each recipe is made, Freshpet’s commitment to integrity, transparency and social responsibility is a point of pride.
