Warehouse Associate – Full-Time – $19.50/hr
Full-time, Permanent position
Shifts: 9:00a-5:30p Sunday - Friday (with Saturday and another weekday off)
Wage: $19.50/hr
Position Overview
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring accuracy when receiving, shipping, selecting orders and recording all movements of inventory and materials to and from Fresh Start Foods facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Lead Hand or Supervisor
- Select orders by assembling pallets using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Frequently operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand jack, and other equipment to load, unload transport, and store goods
- Ensuring products are shipped and received to specifications
- Achieving productivity targets
- Ensuring orders are finished according to shipping schedules
- Working together with team members to ensure an efficient production flow
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Forklift Certification is an asset
- Strong Attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Accountable and Dependable
- Self motivated and have the desire to improve continuously
- Frequent lifting, pushing & pulling up to 50 lbs
- Frequent bending/stooping. Occasionally required to squat/kneel/rotate/twist/balance.
- Must be able to work Holidays as required
- Able to work Overtime as required
