About this role
French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Project Manager for our Survey Department in Wall, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Manage survey projects from initiation through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate and oversee survey crews in the field, including topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
- Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and work plans.
- Review and deliver survey data, maps, and reports to internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local survey regulations and professional standards.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams (civil, structural, environmental) to support multi-disciplinary project needs.
- Maintain strong client relationships, providing technical guidance and updates throughout project lifecycle.
- Mentor and provide leadership to survey staff, promoting professional development and safe work practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred or in progress.
- 5+ years of experience managing surveying projects.
- Proficiency with survey instruments, GPS, total stations, and CAD/GIS software.
- Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities.

Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $115,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
