Where You Will Work
Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

What You Will Do
- Assign, supervise, and review the work of staff for assigned work unit.
- Implement production plans according to approved schedule.
- May participate in the full range of daily operational duties, performing the most difficult.
- Inspect and evaluate work in progress, identify any problem areas, and may direct remedial action.
- Conduct performance evaluations on subordinate staff.
- Prepare estimates of the staffing, materials, and equipment requirements for projected work activities.
- Maintain an inventory of parts and materials. Approves purchases of materials and equipment; maintain time, materials and equipment use reports. Requisitions tools, supplies, materials and equipment.
- Train staff in safety procedures. Maintains safety data sheets for crews.
- Perform other duties as required.
What You Bring To Freeport
- High School diploma or GED and five years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical mining related discipline with at least one summer internship experience (or equivalent) working in mining or industrial environment, including supervisory or lead experience.

What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $90,000-$124,500. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process. What you'll do
- The Supervisor Electrical Maintenance will assign, supervise, and review the work of staff while implementing production plans according to an approved schedule. They will also inspect work in progress, conduct performance evaluations, and maintain inventory of parts and materials.
