Job Description:

 

  • Assist in planning, organizing and facilitating group recreational and social activities, events, programs and bus excursions on a regular basis. 
  • Handling logistics to make the event possible, such as making phone calls, in-house advertising, inventory and coordinating transportation.
  • Keeping records regarding event planning resources, participant interest, and other notable information.
  • Manage daily and weekly in-house advertising using the community portal, and create flyers and posters with software applications.
  • Maintain Daily/Weekly in-house advertising through in-house community portal, creation of flyers and posters via software apps
  • Maintain calendar of activities and effectively coordinating with other departments and communicating it to participants.
  • Maintain monthly distribution of the resident birthday and anniversary list. 

 

Job requirements

  • Physical fitness: ability to walk, stand, lift, or meet other physical demands.
  • Flexibility to work when needed, some evenings, occasional weekends or early mornings.
  • Adaptability and strong organization and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Excellent resource management and computer skills.
  • Adhere to and enforcing all safety procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Standing, stooping, bending, squatting for approximately 25% of work day. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs. occasionally. Must be able to read and speak English, hear, and be able to sit and walk intermittently throughout the day.
