Job Description

  • You will bring a strong understanding of fabrics and product development across global supply chains.
  • You will create commercially driven designs across a broad product mix, including wovens, jersey, knitwear, and denim.
  • You will build cohesive ranges that align with brand strategy, balancing trend relevance with strong attention to detail.
  • You will present research insights and range direction clearly and confidently to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • You will liaise closely with suppliers, managing the product lifecycle from concept through to production, ensuring quality standards, critical path management, and timely approvals of CPs.
  • You will handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, delivering to key deadlines.
  • You will collaborate effectively within an established design and buying team, adding commercial insight and fresh perspective.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience working within a design role
  • Bachelors degree in Fashion design or similar
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.)
  • Ability to design both trend led, commercial & conceptual ranges
  • Ability to create clear & detailed tech packs
  • Experience communicating with factories and managing ranges from initial design through to production. Ensuring these are executed to the highest standard and in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent presentation skills. Able to communicate ideas in a clear and enthusiastic way
  • Experience with knitwear design
  • Dynamic & adaptable
  • Ability to take direction and work independently.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • A positive approach to tasks and new challenges
  • Be a key member of the design team, sharing knowledge and skills with the wider team
  • Able to work well within an established team, whilst bringing new, fresh ideas.

If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed and could include a presentation/task so we can see your skills in action.
