About the Department

The goal of the ETF Distribution group is to serve wealth managers in a variety of ways across an entire portfolio – helping to keep their clients invested no matter what the markets bring. Our ETF industry veterans have built an in-house platform with AUM totaling over $45 billion in the US featuring 80+ ETFs spanning all asset classes and management styles.

How You Will Add Value

  • You will manage the Midwest territory to generate ETF sales through key wealth management relationships and partner with other distribution teams within Franklin Templeton to develop and generate business

  • You will maintain a high level of ETF and industry knowledge, with the ability to deliver presentations to a broad array of audiences

  • You will update activity in CRM and work with sales management on territory objectives

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role

Experience, Education & Certifications

  • 10+ years’ industry experience in ETF Sales covering the Midwest region

  • In-depth knowledge of ETFs and competing investments

  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensing required

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to articulate complex topics internally and externally

  • Knowledge of relevant tools helpful (e.g. Morningstar, Bloomberg)

  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and have exceptional time management skills

  • Must be comfortable with extensive travel (> 50%)

  • Relevant BA/BS degree required

Preferred Work location: Chicago, IL.

There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between $180,000-$200,000.
