2026 Undergraduate Summer Intern – Job Posting

Department Title: Undergrad Intern – Wealth Management National Accounts

Start Date: All interns must start in office and in person on June 8, 2026.

Anticipated End Date: August 14, 2026 – All interns must be in office and in person on their last day to return equipment. Interns must be located in the same location throughout the duration of their internship and are prohibited from returning laptop/equipment to a different office location or shipping their equipment back.

Position Summary: 

The National Accounts team is responsible for deepening and expanding relationships at Franklin Templeton’s Wealth Management client firms.  This team is responsible for selling Franklin Templeton products and solutions to the home offices of RIA Aggregators, Private Banks and National/Regional/Independent broker dealers.  This team is responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders at client firms, and communicating internally on strategic initiatives that are important to our client firms.  This team has close collaboration with the field and internal sales teams, marketing, product, data and investment managers.

National Accounts is at the center of the client experience and touches almost all departments at FT.  You will have exposure to various groups and individuals.

  • Help our team grow AUM and sales at our firms and deepen and expand client relationships
  • You will gain exposure to multiple areas within Franklin Templeton (sales, marketing, data, etc.) and have a better understanding of  how  Sales/distribution operates.
  • You will also have the opportunity to learn about  Franklin Templeton investment strategies and current market outlook and positioning.
  • You will have the opportunity to learn more about Wealth Management firms in the industry

Key Responsibilities Can Include:

  • Utilize Gen AI to  aggregate data, industry trends and information to aid in the management, servicing and identification of opportunities to expand client firm relationships.
  • Participate in key client calls and follow-up on information with the account managers.
  • Create presentations, synthesize data and create summaries and recommendations to assist the  team in identifying new opportunities.

This is a full-time internship where students will work approximately 35-37.5 (dependent on state/location) hours per week and earn competitive hourly pay of $28 - $30 (dependent on location and function) USD per hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
