About the Department:

  • Fiduciary Trust International, part of Franklin Templeton, delivers comprehensive wealth management solutions to high‑net‑worth clients, families, foundations, and endowments. The department specializes in investment management, trust and estate services, and administrative support that help preserve and grow wealth across generations. Teams collaborate closely, apply strong fiduciary discipline, and leverage global resources to deliver tailored financial outcomes. Joining the department provides exposure to sophisticated investment strategies, cross‑functional collaboration, and long‑term professional growth.

  • The primary function of this position is to validate and analyse portfolio performance, attribution and ex-post risk statistics for publication to the Firms internal/external clients.  This position will support and liaison with the HNW Investment Management Teams.

How You Will Add Value?

Core Responsibilities:

  • You will validate portfolio performance, attribution, and ex‑post risk metrics.

  • You will oversee performance and risk analysis processes.

  • You will review data to ensure accuracy and quality.

  • You will complete data validation and exception handling.

  • You will write performance and risk commentary.

  • You will resolve complex data issues affecting reports.

  • You will support the Investment Team with performance insights.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • You will deliver reports to Investment teams in line with service standards.

  • You will manage and respond to ad hoc requests.

  • You will review account inclusion in composites according to GIPS and internal policies.

  • You will oversee automated validation controls and follow issue‑resolution procedures.

Team & Collaboration:

  • You will coordinate and distribute requests from Investment teams.

  • You will provide performance and risk consulting to internal and external clients.

  • You will represent the team in projects and process improvements.

  • You will stay informed on industry trends and best practices.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role?

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a quantitative field.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including business analysis.

  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments and markets.

  • Experience with performance and risk management processes.

  • Understanding of quantitative and statistical concepts.

  • Understanding of the impact of accounting transactions on performance.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Visual Basic, and Python.

  • Ability to manage data and build workflows.

  • Experience with FactSet B‑One (preferred).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships.

  • Progress toward CIPM, FRM, or CFA is beneficial.

Work Shift Timings - 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST
