About this role
As an intern at Frankenmuth Insurance, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the Pricing and Analytics (P&A) Team by contributing to Actuarial Pricing, Actuarial Support or Data Science work within the ARCS Department. This role provides exposure to the full actuarial lifecycle - from analysis and modeling to implementation, documentation and regulatory support - by working on real-world insurance projects.
Interns will assist with data preparation, analysis, reporting and operational tasks related to predictive modeling, ratemaking, pricing implementation, and regulatory filings, while collaborating with cross-functional partners across the organization.

- Currently pursuing undergraduate degree
- Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Finance or related major preferred
- Successful completion of one Actuarial Exam preferred
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience or coursework in Excel preferred; Knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, or SAS is a plus
- Ability to organize, validate and interpret data
- Ability to multi-task, follow documented processes, meet deadlines and work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
