About this role

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and monitoring products and processes to ensure compliance with company quality standards, industry regulations, and customer specifications. This role involves identifying defects, documenting inspection results, supporting corrective and preventive actions, and working closely with production and quality teams to maintain consistent product quality. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to continuous improvement and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attendance:
    Inspectors must arrive at work on time before the start of their shift and be available to perform the tasks assigned to them.
  • Quality:
    Inspectors must perform all operations in accordance with the technologies, manufacturing instructions, and specifications, while paying particular attention to customers’ specific requirements.
    All disciplinary elements such as product handling, ESD routines (electrostatic discharge), machine operation, and occupational safety must be followed.
  • Teamwork:
    Inspectors must work as members of a team and cooperate positively with colleagues and supervisors in order to achieve company goals.
  • Standards:
    Inspectors must apply the manufacturing standards prescribed by each customer or the standards used by the company.
    Deviation from these standards is not permitted, except with written authorization from the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Workwear Requirements:
    All employees must wear appropriate protective clothing e.g. ESD (electrostatic discharge) garments in the designated work area.
  • Communication:
    Inspectors are responsible for promptly reporting any problems or questions to their immediate supervisor in order to prevent unnecessary downtime, safety hazards, or quality risks that could affect the customer.
  • Attitude:
    Inspectors must demonstrate a positive and cooperative attitude at all levels within the company, working as part of the collective toward the overall success of the business.
  • Performance Measurements:
    Inspectors are regularly evaluated in the following categories:
    Punctuality, Attendance, Quality, Performance, and Teamwork.
    These evaluations form the basis of the employees’ annual performance reviews, which determine possible promotions and play a key role in training, education, and career development.
  • Customer Orientation:
    Inspectors must recognize their role in ensuring customer satisfaction whether internal or external customers and act to provide the best possible product quality, services, and communication.
  • Environmental Protection:
    Inspectors should have a basic understanding of the company’s environmental policy and of ISO 14001 in general and must be familiar with and practice selective waste collection.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Inspectors must possess at least a secondary school education or higher qualification, preferably with prior experience in inspection or work involving microscopes.
  • Inspectors must have a clean criminal record (certificate of good conduct required).
  • Inspectors must demonstrate a pleasant, positive manner and behave in a professional and acceptable way. They should have an analytical, systematic, and logical way of thinking.
  • Inspectors must be physically fit for the job and flexible, enabling them to work in various areas as required by their supervisors.
