About this role

The New Territory Development Director will play an instrumental role supporting business growth by developing organic and inorganic growth strategy. In collaboration with the New Territory Clinical Operations Director (NTCOD), the New Territory Development Director (NTDD) will review growth strategies, plan for expansion transition, and manage priorities across internal cross functional teams. The NTDD is a detail-oriented, get-things-done, professional who adapts quickly and earns credibility and trust interfacing with new partners. The NTDD works closely with Operations and Sales teams in the oversight and leadership of the newly created region. The NTDD works with the Senior Clinical Operations Team to manage and develop new Regional Director(s) in order to effectively lead the new clinical team(s). The NTDD must be a cultural leader for the practice.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities.

- Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

- Analyze key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies.

- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media.

- Identifies and develops business opportunities in new territories.

- Builds relationships with customers, partners, and vendors.

- Evaluates existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn't.

- Manages key client relationships and works to build new ones.

- Expands the profile and reach of the practice.

- Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.

- Builds cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth.

- Tracks emerging markets and trends.

- Fosters and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions.

- Identifies and recommends new services.

- Proposes and develops strategic partnerships.

- Helps to shape the company's long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.

- Research and identify new markets.

- Travels to new and existing markets.

- Develops annual budget for defined markets and manages to budget.

- Leads AM team while market is in De Novo categorization.

- Work within allocated budgets for business development activities.

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor strategies. - Continuously improve knowledge and skills related to business development.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, MBA a plus

- 5-10 years sales or marketing experience

- Experience in New Territory Development

- 75-100% travel to De Novo and future De Novo states

- Other travel may be required as practice needs dictate
