Owned by FOX Corporation, FBN is a unit of FOX News Media and has bureaus in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.The Big Money Show is looking for a confident, highly motivated, proactive Booker/Researcher to join our team. The Big Money Show is a 2-hour, fast-paced show that features policymakers, business leaders, economists, and Wall St CEOs as high-energy mainstream newsmakers. As a Booker/Researcher, you will be responsible for booking compelling guests, pitching stories, writing scripts, and selecting/building elements in a collaborative team environment. You are well-versed in business news, politics, and current events and innately curious. You are a clever writer & excellent researcher who sees value in discovering unique angles and guests that no one else will find.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Book high-profile guests and produce in-studio segments
Pitch unique and interesting guests, stories, and segments
Conduct in-depth research and compile well-rounded pre-interviews
Write stories, guest intros, teases, and banners
Select elements such as sound, video clips, and graphics to help tell a story
Manage daily deadline turnarounds of a live show
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
1-3 years of prior television (or similar) experience
Strong knowledge of business news, politics, and current events; familiarity with politicians, commentators, and opinion makers
Ability to work collaboratively with others under intense deadline pressure
Ability to work independently and make smart decisions on your own
Willingness to listen, learn, and grow from constructive criticism
Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $54,000.00-63,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in nine of the top ten largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce nearly 1,000 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.
