BARISTA/BARTENDER 

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Barista/Bartender who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Baristas/Bartenders have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Prepare and serve a selection of beverages from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards. 

• Service Restaurant & Coffee Lounge. The barista will prepare gourmet coffee drinks & cocktails. 

• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order. 

• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, etc. Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. 

• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.  

WHAT TO BRING 

• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage. 

• Required to obtain Hawaii State Blue card, rules and regulations of the Liquor Commission. 

• Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required. 

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States 

• Ability to accurately read food tickets and communicate orders with the kitchen and servers.
