The Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is a colorful Garden Island with all the charm and intimacy of a traditional Maldivian Village. Located just 25 minutes by speedboat from the airport, the island’s accommodations, restaurants and recreational facilities are all close at hand, arranged around a beautiful central promenade lined with borders of bougainvillea, frangipani and hibiscus flowers.

Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is currently seeking a Receptionist (Chinese Speaker) who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating memorable guest experiences.

As part of a diverse and dynamic Front Office team, the Receptionist delivers warm, intuitive, and award-winning service to our valued guests. This role reports to the Front Desk Manager.

A Maldivian work permit will be provided by the resort.

What you will do:

  • Welcome and assist guests warmly at the resort, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
  • Handle guest check-in, check-out, cashiering, and reservations in line with resort standards.
  • Manage telephone operations, including answering and transferring calls, wake-up calls, and providing accurate information on resort facilities and services.
  • Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns promptly, and deliver personalized touches to enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and history, following hotel credit and cash handling policies.
  • Provide travel support, including issuing tickets, amending itineraries, and arranging transportation.
  • Recommend and upsell room types, facilities, and services in a personalized manner.
  • Assist with departmental supplies requisition and maintain proper equipment handling.
  • Participate in team briefings, meetings, and scheduled training sessions.
  • Stay informed on resort events, services, and key personnel to provide up-to-date information to guests.
  • Adhere to grooming, hygiene, safety, and code of conduct standards at all times.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

What you bring:

  • Good command of English, with sound math and psychometric abilities.
  • Written & spoken fluency in Chinese/ Mandarin (any other languages would be an added advantage)
  • Completion of O Levels, Technical education in Hospitality is preferred.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in 5* Hotels or Resorts.
  • A natural sense of finesse, personal flair, and professionalism.
  • Passion for guest service and a positive attitude with upward mobility potential.

Schedule & Hours:
