Fountain Tire Vancouver (Marine Drive) is looking for a skilled Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our team!

You will get to:
- Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
- Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
- Completing approved service on customer vehicles
- Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
- Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
- Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
- Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
- Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
- Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries
What does it take to get on track?
- Must be a Red Seal in the Automotive Service Technician trade
- 10+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician is required
- Proficiency in welding/fabricating is an asset
- Strong electrical diagnostic ability preferred
- Diesel experience and the ability to complete commercial vehicle inspections is an asset
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
- A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology
- The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
- Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence on an annual basis
