Overview

Fountain Tire Prince Albert, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and knowledgeable associate to join our team as an Experienced Tire Technician!Join the team at Fountain Tire (Prince Albert), a highly rated, customer trusted shop offering expert tire and automotive services where technicians can build rewarding, long term careers through hands on experience and diverse service work, keeping drivers safe on the road!

You will be responsible for:

  • Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
  • Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
  • Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
  • The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

  • Must have at least 1 year of proven tire changing experience to be considered 
  • Previous OTR tire experience is a considerable asset
  • A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
  • A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
  • A keen attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
