Spring Arbor Senior Living in Williamsburg VA  is seeking a  Maintenance Technician to join our Assisted Living team. Individuals are responsible for responsible for performing general maintenance of assigned facilities utilizing several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, & roofing.

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

    • Help residents with moving in and moving out. Hang pictures/TV ect.
    • Complete room turnovers including drywall repair, painting, and carpet cleaning.
    • Make sure community is always presentable, including touch-up painting, carpet cleaning, changing lightbulbs.
    • Make sure ground are free of trash and debris.
    • Basic electrical and plumbing skills.
    • Assist the Maintenance Director with workorders and tasks.
    • Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Superior customer service skills and orientation. Collaborative style and ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations required. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints, without direct supervision.   
  • Sound troubleshooting skills and the capacity to fully resolve problems. 
  • Ability to read or learn how to read HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and architectural blueprints. 
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools and perform basic electric, plumbing and carpentry tasks.
