Spring Arbor Senior Living in Williamsburg VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Assisted Living team. Individuals are responsible for responsible for performing general maintenance of assigned facilities utilizing several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, & roofing.

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

- Help residents with moving in and moving out. Hang pictures/TV ect.
- Complete room turnovers including drywall repair, painting, and carpet cleaning.
- Make sure community is always presentable, including touch-up painting, carpet cleaning, changing lightbulbs.
- Make sure ground are free of trash and debris.
- Basic electrical and plumbing skills.
- Assist the Maintenance Director with workorders and tasks.
- Other duties and tasks may be assigned.
WHO WE WANT!
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Superior customer service skills and orientation. Collaborative style and ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints, without direct supervision.
- Sound troubleshooting skills and the capacity to fully resolve problems.
- Ability to read or learn how to read HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and architectural blueprints.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and perform basic electric, plumbing and carpentry tasks.

What you'll do
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance of assigned facilities, including room turnovers and ensuring the community is presentable. They will assist the Maintenance Director with work orders and other tasks as assigned.
