Spring Arbor Cottage of Fredericksburg is looking for a talented, self-motivated Cook to join our Food Service team. This role is all about creating delicious, nutritious meals while providing an exceptional dining experience for our residents.
Not only will you get to express your creativity in the kitchen, but you’ll also build meaningful connections with residents and staff in a warm, social environment. If you’re passionate about food and making a difference, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare mouthwatering, well-presented meals that delight our residents
- Ensure all food is prepared with care & adheres to sanitation standards
- Communicate menu changes, concerns, or suggestions to staff & residents
- Assist with meal service & dining room upkeep
- Keep all utensils & cooking areas spotless & organized
- Follow infection control, food safety, and fire & safety protocols
Who We’re Looking For!
✅ Passionate about cooking & creating a great dining experience
✅ High School diploma or equivalent preferred
✅ 18+ years old (if operating power-driven kitchen equipment)
✅ 3+ years of experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred
✅ Culinary arts experience a plus! 🍳
✅ ServSafe, CPR, & First Aid certifications preferred
✅ Enthusiastic, creative, and eager to bring a smile to our residents' faces!
