Working under the guidance of seasoned professionals like a Senior Auditor or Internal Audit Manager, you'll dive into the inner workings of our Credit Union, ensuring that every activity aligns with our high standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Here's a glimpse of what your day might look like:

• Crafting detailed process maps to visualize workflows.
• Identifying potential risks and ensuring controls are in place to mitigate these risks.
• Developing audit procedures to test the effectiveness of our controls.
• Working closely with audit clients to pinpoint root causes of issues and brainstorm actionable solutions.
• Reporting your findings in clear, concise reports that help us continuously improve.
• Maintain positive client relationships and facilitate and lead client meetings.

Qualifications

What you'll bring to the team:

• A two-year college degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, ideally with a focus on accounting or bookkeeping.
• One to three years of experience in a role that honed your auditing or financial analysis skills.
• A genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
