Carillon Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality focused Renovation Technician to join our team!

The Renovation Technician is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the renovations department. Conducting under supervisor direction, construction-related tasks such as carpentry, drywall installation, tape bedding, texturing, painting, and form setting.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Renovations Worker

  • Performs construction-related duties such as: carpentry, drywall installation, tape bedding, texturing, painting, and form setting.
  • Operates company truck for the purpose of transporting workers, construction materials, and light equipment.
  • Performs daily tasks in a safe and workman-like manner in accordance with company policies.
  • Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
  • Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

 

Knowledge and Ability

  • Knowledge of equipment used in construction or other related work.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with others.
  • Have the ability to learn simple tasks.
  • Have the ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Have the ability to lift and carry equipment or materials applicable to the assigned work.
  • Have the ability to understand oral and written instructions.
  • Have the ability to read and follow blueprints and diagrams.

 

Education and Experience

  • Have a High School diploma/GED.
  • Have some Technical Schooling and/or background preferred.
  • Minimum of one-year experience building construction, maintenance, or general labor services.
