Position Summary
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks related to the recording and reporting of financial transactions and financial/bank statements associated with deposits and payments.
Expectations
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, unclaimed property filings and unclaimed property reconciliations.
- Research, communicate and resolve discrepancies with multiple departments.
- Ensure accuracy and ability to keep up to date each month.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Provide requested support for Auditors.
- Adhere to FTJ Policies & Procedures, including but not limited to Corporate Mission Statement, Corporate Values and Corporate Code of Conduct.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office applications.

Requisites
- A minimum of two years of experience in accounting position is preferred.
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Basic understanding of principles of finance, bookkeeping and accounting.
- Experience with accounting systems.
